Class 8

Over the weekend, I solidified my concept for my second pitch to deliver to class. I would create a story of a musician and their journey through life to make it to the stage. By the end of the journey, I show images of my parents who are musicians and myself holding a violin.

Music was a very prominant role in my childhood, through my parents, siblings, and grandparents who were all musicians. This pitch is meant to pay homage to my parents for their career and life, and the love for the musical arts which they gave me at such a young age.

The previs above was done in UE5.2, I hope to add more paintings to tell a larger story before next monday!

During class 8, of my classmates Elezier reached and directed me to a great reference to use for the inspiration of this pitch. In the link below, Coca-Cola created a commercial in 2023 depicting a bottle being passed around from painting to painting in an art museum. What's interesting about this commercial is how the bottle enters the painting and it's a fully cg world. This is great reference for my project and how I can use this commercial for transition inspiration between shots to smoothly go from one world to another.
